PUNXSUTAWNEY – At yesterday morning’s Groundhog Day celebration at Gobbler’s Knob, Punxsutawney Phil made his weather prediction for the next six weeks – more winter weather.
It’s the 108th time that Phil has called for six more weeks of winter in the tradition’s 137-year history.
There is still a swirl of activity and events happening in Punxsutawney the next few days.
The festive Groundhog Ball is tonight at the Punxsutawney Country Club.
The Ball is sold out, and so is the popular Lunch With Phil at Gobbler’s Knob Visitors Center Hall tomorrow, Saturday.
