PUNXSUTAWNEY – For only the 21st time in his 138 years of predictions, Punxsutawney Phil is calling for an early spring.
At Friday’s Groundhog Day festivities on Gobbler’s Knob, Phil declared through his Inner Circle spokesman that he did not see his shadow, and by tradition that means spring weather arriving early in Western Pennsylvania.
