Punxsutawney Parole Check Turns Physical

PUNXSUTAWNEY – A routine parole check in Punxsutawney has led to one man facing felony charges after an altercation broke out.

According to police, on January 29th a parole officer noticed a beer can in 28 year-old Haden Roy’s fire pit during a regular visit to his 708 Millron Road home.

Afterwards, authorities found marijuana, and steroids. When they attempted to take Roy into custody he allegedly became combative.

He is now facing felony aggravated assault, and drug charges on top of the parole violation.
