PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney man is facing arson charges after a barn fire last week.
Early Friday morning a barn fire broke out on South Main Street with heavy flames and smoke.
Police learned from a witness that 51 year-old Scott Wundrack allegedly started the blaze before leaving the scene. The witness also claimed Wundrack appeared to be intoxicated and was making suicidal remarks.
After allegedly crashing in Indiana County, police took Wundrack into custody where he allegedly admitted to setting the barn fire.
He has now been charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. The arson allegations are still pending.
