PUNXSUTAWNEY – Multiple burglary, theft, and criminal trespass charges have been filed against a 22-year-old Jefferson County man.
According to court documents, Adison Neal of Punxsutawney allegedly confessed to police that he stole around $1,000 in cash from his former employer, but claims that he returned the money with interest.
Neal’s former employer reported that video footage inside her Bell Township business shows Neal breaking in and taking money at least four different nights.
Neal claims that he returned $1,000, plus an extra $300 in interest.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Neal on September 12th.
