
PUNXSUTAWNEY – One man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into a Henderson Township home and holding a woman at gunpoint.
On Tuesday at around 4am, police were dispatched to a Route 119 residence for a reported break-in. Once on scene police learned that 36 year-old Tyler Williams allegedly kicked down the door, firing a shot into the deadbolt to gain entry. He then questioned the victim at gunpoint before leaving the building.
Police found Williams at the Crazy Horse Saloon where they found a handgun and empty shell in his pocket.
Williams was then taken to the Jefferson County Jail where he faces multiple felony burglary, criminal trespassing, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, and firearms charges.
