PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney man is behind bars after allegedly threatening another person with a gun with children around.
On October 31st, police were notified of a confrontation involving a firearm at a Beyer Avenue residence.
Once on scene police learned that the resident, later identified as 57 year-old Warren Hubbard, had a verbal confrontation with a man walking with his 2 year-old son and three year-old daughter.
After the argument, Hubbard allegedly threatened the man with a firearm, throwing it into the grass and pulling out a pocket knife.
He allegedly told officers that if the victim did not have children with him, Hubbard would have shot him.
He is now in the Jefferson County Jail facing multiple felony charges.
