CLEARFIELD – A woman is facing drug charges after police allegedly found narcotics on her during a wellness check.
Last Wednesday officers with the Clearfield Regional Police Department responded to a 226 North 3rd Street business for reports of a woman acting intoxicated.
Once on scene, police learned the female, later identified as 44 year-old Teri Carpenter, was allegedly under the influence of both alcohol and controlled substances. Police also allegedly discovered 19 Buprenorphine Hydrochloride pills on her person.
She is now facing both narcotics possession and public drunkenness charges.
