Protective face masks stolen from Madera Volunteer Ambulance

Bigler Township, PA – Someone stole $15 worth of protective face mouth masks from the Madera Volunteer Ambulance Service in Clearfield County.

It happened sometime between Feb. 17 and March 21.

This is particularly troublesome at a time when face masks are in short supply everywhere.

Our first responders have no choice but to be in close contact with people who could have weak immune systems. These masks are a way of preventing the potential spread of many illnesses not just to our emergency crews but also preventing spread to some of our most vulnerable residents.
