
UNDATED – The seasons are changing and the temperatures outside are getting warmer, in response State Police would like to warn you about keeping your animals safe in extreme heat.
Authorities want to remind you that you must give your animals basic needs including water and appropriate shelter by law.
They would also like to remind you to not leave your pet outdoors for longer than 30 minutes if it is over 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Failure to do so could lead to animal cruelty charges.
