PUNXSUTAWNEY – A Punxsutawney man is facing several charges after allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman during an argument.
According to police, on December 20th a woman, who was 30 weeks pregnant, and 25 year-old, Lucas Deet were arguing inside of a Walmart over groceries.
The argument continued until they stopped on a gravel road where Deet allegedly pushed the woman out of the car, pinning her head and neck against the door and pressing on her belly.
He allegedly admitted this information to police.
Deet now faces charges including simple assault, and harassment. He has a preliminary hearing set for January 29th.
