Police searching for blue Jeep Liberty that hit mailbox in Sykesville

Sykesville, PA – Be on the lookout for a blue Jeep Liberty that might have been involved in a hit-and-run in Sykesville.

State Police in DuBois are investigating a hit-and-run that happened early Saturday morning, around 1:30 a.m., on West Main Street in Sykesville, involving someone who ran off the road for unknown reasons and struck a blue metal US Postal Service mailbox.

It’s believed that the vehicle is a blue 2008-2013 Jeep Liberty and will have damage to its driver’s side front.
