SNYDER TOWNSHIP – Police are investigating a scam that stole over $3,000 dollars an elderly woman.
According to police, an unknown number of individuals contacted the victim claiming their bank account was compromised and she had to pay them $323.61 dollars via Zelle.
After doing that, the scammer then took an additional $3,000 dollars from the victim’s bank account.
Police are still investigating.
