REYNOLDSVILLE – A Reynoldsville man is facing multiple charges after allegedly leading police on a high speed car chase last month.
On November 22nd just after 2am, State Police noticed a 2013 Subaru Sedan driving erratically on Chips Road in Winslow Township.
While attempting to perform a traffic stop, the vehicle allegedly sped away going over 90 miles per hour. Officers also noted that they saw a possible beer can thrown from the passenger side window.
The driver, later identified as 44 year-old Matthew Guthridge, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a barn near Doan Lane.
Guthridge was transported to Penn Highland DuBois for medical treatment before being taken to the Jefferson County Jail for multiple charges, including felony fleeing and eluding, DUI, and reckless driving.
