Police and firefighters thank Penn Highlands for use of PH DuBois East building

DuBois, PA – In addition to the vote about the possible consolidation of the City of DuBois and Sandy Township at last night’s meeting, the fire and police departments both took a moment to recognize Penn Highlands Healthcare for allowing them to train inside of a building that was about to be destroyed.

DuBois Fire Chief Joe Mitchell wanted to thank Penn Highlands for allowing the fire fighters to get some unique training in the Penn Highlands DuBois East building that was about to be demolished.

Police Chief Blaine Clark says his officers and Sandy Township officers were also able to use the building for a special active shooter training.
