Young Township, PA – A pistol was found in the middle of Route 436 and South Main Street in Young Township, and it was able to be returned to the rightful owner.
After someone turned in the gun, the owner came to the Punxsutawney State Police Station to report it as missing.
The gun is listed as a Smith and Wesson .44 Air Lite pistol, worth about $1,000.
It was returned to him.
