Pirates Care-A-Van coming to DuBois VA Clinic, lunch at Luigi’s for trivia winners

DuBois, PA – The Pirates Care-a-Van is heading to our part of the state this week, including here in DuBois this Thursday!

You have the chance to actually eat with the Buccos on Thursday with our Lunch with the Bucs trivia on Sunny 106 and Connect FM.

Listen for the voice of Greg Brown over the next few days for your chance to call in and answer a trivia question about the Pirates and their time at PNC Park over the last 20 years. Winners will get an exclusive invite to have lunch with select Pirates at Luigi’s Ristorante!

PNC Park is celebrating 20 years with the Pittsburgh Pirates! Listen for your chance to win one exclusive invite to have lunch with the Bucs! Be the correct caller when you hear Greg Brown’s cue to call for your chance to answer a trivia question about the Pittsburgh Pirates during their time at PNC Park. Of course, the Pirates will be in town as part of their Care-a-Van events. From 11 until noon on Thursday, Blake Cederlind, Guillermo Heredia, Bryan Reynolds, Glenn Sherlock and Don Kelly and coaches will visit with patients in the DuBois VA Clinic and do healthy activities like yoga and meditation.

On Wednesday, the Pirates will be in Indiana, Altoona, and Johnstown as part of other Care-A-Van activities.

According to the Pittsburgh Pirates website, the CARE-a-van will feature four separate groups of players and coaches traveling to public and private community action events throughout the region. Pirates players, coaches, front office personnel and Pirates Charities partner with local non-profits and donate their time to assist with projects and services, as well as visit with schools and community organizations.
