DUBOIS – According to PennDOT, a project to replace a failing drainage pipe along the Bee Line Highway in Sandy Township will begin Monday evening.

In order to minimize the impact on traffic flow, work is scheduled to take place between 6pm and 6am.

The pipe is located just north of the Bee Line Highway (Route 255)-Shaffer Road intersection near the DuBois Mall.

PennDOT officials say traffic will be reduced to a single lane during the project, and flaggers will provide direction when crews are at work.

The pipe replacement project is expected to be complete within three weeks.
