CHEST TOWNSHIP – PennDOT will begin a detour today around Black Elk Road in Chest Township, Clearfield County, as crews begin replacing drainage pipes.
According to PennDOT, crews will shut down a section of road between Punkin Ridge and Irvona Roads.
This project will allow for better water flow around the roadway making it safer for all drivers.
Crews expect to have all work completed by August
