CLEARFIELD — Clearfield Regional Police have jailed a 31-year-old man for causing a disturbance and fighting with officers at the county’s probation office.
According to court documents, Joseph Oswalt of Philipsburg tried to walk out of the Clearfield County probation office when sheriff deputies arrived to arrest him on an active warrant.
Oswalt allegedly fought with the deputies, and he had to be carried outside.

Felony counts of aggravated assault and disarming a law enforcement officer, as well as 12 other charges were filed against Oswalt.
He was arraigned Tuesday and is currently being held in the Clearfield County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
