CLEARFIELD – A Philipsburg man who allegedly put a butcher’s knife to a woman’s throat will be tried on multiple charges in Clearfield County Court.
29-year-old Brock Karg waived his right to a preliminary hearing this week.
State Police have accused Karg of aggravated and simple assault after they responded to a Chester Hill residence earlier this month where Karg and the victim had been arguing over money for a child’s birthday presents.
The victim claims that as the argument escalated, Karg put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.
Authorities are considering Karg as a severe threat, so he is being held in the Clearfield County Jail without bail.
