People walking on roadways in Clearfield Borough

Clearfield, PA – Clearfield Borough Police got a call recently from a concerned citizen about three people who had been walking on the roadway on South 2nd Street during the night time hours, causing a traffic hazard.

Police arrived and were unable to locate those specific people, but they do remind everyone to only use the sidewalks and crosswalks and be especially careful when walking at night.

Police responded to a report of traffic hazard in which 3 individuals were walking on the roadway of S 2nd St during night time hours. Police arrived and were unable to locate the individuals. Pedestrians are reminded to use sidewalks and crosswalks especially during night time hours.

Police received a report of a package being stolen from a S 2nd St residence. Police are investigating.

Police received a report of a “hit and run” involving a motorist backing into a pole on Turnpike Ave. Police observed the pole to be completed knocked over. Police are investigating.

Police were dispatched to an E Market St establishment for a disorderly male. Police arrived and the male agreed to leave the establishment.

Police responded to the hospital for a disorderly patient. Police arrived and calmed the patient who agreed to be cooperative with staff.
