Undated – Pennsylvania’s Primary Election day was yesterday, and the Republican side of the U.S. Senate race is still too close to call.
Mehmet Oz is holding a slim 1,500 vote edge over Dave McCormick.
An automatic recount in that race is expected to be triggered.
For the Democrats, John Fetterman claimed the nomination with nearly 59 percent of the vote.
Doug Mastriano is the Republican choice for Pennsylvania Governor.
Mastriano garnered more than half a million GOP votes to easily outdistance closest competitor Lou Barletta.
Josh Shapiro was unopposed on the Democrat side.
Austin Davis is the Democrats’ choice for Lieutenant Governor, while the Republicans picked Carrie DelRosso.
In local races, Republican Glenn “GT” Thompson was unopposed for the U.S. House seat, as was Republican Michael Armanini in Pennsylvania’s 75th District.
Dallas Kephart claimed the Republican nomination in the in the 73rd District race.
Brian Smith was the unopposed Republican in the 66th Legislative District.
