UNDATED – Average gasoline prices in Pennsylvania rose another penny in the past week.

The latest GasBuddy survey shows that we are now paying an average of $4.07 per gallon in the Commonwealth.

Prices are somewhat lower in the Brookville area where the average per gallon price is now $3.77, but a little bit higher in the DuBois area where the average comes in currently at $4.13 per gallon.

The statewide average price of gas is more than 47 cents higher than a year ago, and $1.59 per gallon higher than two years ago.

GasBuddy surveys more than 5,200 stations in Pennsylvania to determine the average gasoline price.

The head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, Patrick De Haan, says, “We’ll be seeing the most expensive Thanksgiving Day gasoline prices on record.”
