
HARRISBURG – It’s a chilly winter weekend, but many are looking forward to spring-like weather and the opening day of trout season in Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission’s 2023 trout stocking schedules will SOON be available at State Representative Mike Armanini’s district offices.
But if you want to get an early look, they are available on the FishBoatPA mobile app.
More than 3.2 million adult trout will be stocked in waterways open to public angling.
Stocking is set to begin the week of February 21st in advance of the statewide Mentored Youth Trout Day on Saturday, March 25th.
Pennsylvania’s opening day of trout season is Saturday, April 1st.
