UNDATED – Drivers be warned as a superload will be traveling through our area Monday.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, a 136 foot long, close to 28 feet wide, and 150 tons load will be traversing through the commonwealth throughout the day.
The superload will travel through I-80 taking exit 78 ultimately traveling down 119 South into Indiana County.
Once in Indiana County, it will take Route 22 west through Westmoreland County and into Allegheny County. It will then travel Route 2048, 48 south, 130 west, 2037 west, ultimately onto Route 2083.
The superload will move using two lanes at approximately 30 miles per hour. Drivers should expect traffic delays.
