DUBOIS – There may be minor traffic delays on Interstate 80 near DuBois this week.
Starting today, PennDOT says work crews will be taking core boring samples in preparation for bridge replacement projects.
You may encounter delays on I-80 from exit 97 to mile marker 99 and near both the eastbound and westbound bridges at exit 97.
This work will impact the westbound right travel lane between mile markers 99 and 98 today; and then the eastbound right travel lane in the same area on Wednesday.
Thursday’s work is expected to impact the left passing lane of I-80 westbound between mile markers 96.6 and 96.2; and the eastbound passing lane in the same area on Friday.
PennDOT expects the work to have minimal impact on traffic flow on the Interstate.
