CLEARFIELD – Over the past 50 years, there have been five people who have lost their lives while working for PennDOT’s District 2, which includes Clearfield and Elk counties.
Today, PennDOT is dedicating a memorial to honor those five.
The traveling workers’ memorial for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will be in Clearfield today for the dedication ceremony.
The memorial will be on display at the PennDOT District Office in Clearfield today and all throughout this week.
The traveling memorial pays tribute to a total of 90 PennDOT employees statewide who died during their service to the Commonwealth.
