DUBOIS – This year’s Penn State Laureate will be at Penn State DuBois for an artist talk and light painting event on Wednesday.
Lori Hepner is a professor of integrative arts at Penn State Greater Allegheny, and she was named Laureate this academic year to bring greater visibility to the arts, humanities at Penn State, and her own work.
Hepner has been teaching for 15 years in the Penn State system, and she uses movement to abstract and reconstruct images in works that she says, “make the invisible visible.”
Hepner’s event at Penn State DuBois will be from 12:15 to 1:15 pm Wednesday in the DEF Building.
While the event is open to the public, preregistration is required by Noon Tuesday.
Contact Amity Maines at Penn State DuBois if you wish to register.
