UNDATED – Big changes are coming to Penn Highlands Healthcare, designed to keep you better informed, calmer, and safer during emergencies.

Starting August 6th, Penn Highlands will launch their new emergency alert system across all facilities. Focusing on clarity instead of the confusing variety of alerts used in different locations.

As Vice President of Quality and Safety, Megan Bussard says, the new system’s main goal is to create a consistent experience for everyone.

“We’re making this transition for the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors,” explained Bussard. “To be a clear communicator with them so they can be assured that safety is at the top of our priorities.”

This unified alert system will help ensure that no matter which facility you are in, you’ll always hear the same clear message in an emergency.
