ST. MARYS — Expectant mothers in Elk County will now have to travel to DuBois for the delivery of their babies.
A representative from Penn Highlands Healthcare reports that certain services at their Elk County hospital in St. Marys are moving to Penn Highlands DuBois. The Penn Highlands Elk’s labor and delivery services are transitioning to the hospital complex in DuBois.
Prenatal, postpartum, and OB services will continue to be offered at the Elk County location.
