DUBOIS – Tomorrow, Tuesday, is the 4th Annual PA Donor Day at Penn Highlands DuBois and Penn Highlands Clearfield.
August 1st has been set aside as a day to help raise awareness of the need for organ and tissue donors, and to generate many organ drive registrations.
Statistics show that someone in Pennsylvania is told they need a life-saving transplant every 10 minutes, and there are currently more than 7,000 patients on the transplant waiting list.
Donate Life PA is hoping to reach a goal of having 50% of eligible Pennsylvanians registered this year.
