
Brockway, PA – Our hearts are with the Doane and Beers families and the Brockway and Falls Creek communities as we learned that 10-year-old Paige Doane, a young lady who had been battling Neurofibromatosis since she was just 3 months old, has passed away from her illness.
Paige would have been in fifth grade this upcoming year in Brockway.
Her family is asking that donations can be made in her memory to the Brockway Elementary School.
Her funeral services will be held this Wednesday at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway.

Paige Caroline Doane, age 10 of Doane Drive Falls Creek, PA, died on Friday June 25, 2021 at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Born on August 22, 2010 in DuBois, Paige was the daughter of Kevin and Shelley Beers Doane who survive and live in Falls Creek.
She had just finished the 4th grade and would have been a 5th grade student this fall at the Brockway Elementary School.
Paige was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Sykesville. She enjoyed watching YouTube videos and hanging out with her dogs Abby and Ava.
In addition to her parents she is also survived by a sister Madison Doane; her maternal grandparents: Terry (Melisa) Beers of Reynoldsville and Maribeth (Brian) Waite also of Reynoldsville; Aunts: Amy David of Brockway; Mona Kutch of St Marys; Vicky Garman of Kittanning; Karen (Ed) Bowdish of Falls Creek; Rita (Alan) Grady of Brockway and Kaitlyn Beers of Reynoldsville. Uncles: Trevor (Marcie) Beers of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Todd (Lindi) Beers of DuBois; Corey Karadeema of Pittsburgh, Pa. Paige is also survived by many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents George and Caroline Doane.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, June 30th from 2PM to 6PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.
A Funeral Service will follow at 6PM with Pastor Tharren Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Temple Cemetery in Hazen.
Memorial donations may be made to the Brockway Elementary School for all of the love they have showed Paige through her challenges and the incredible support they have provided to the entire Doane family.
