PA officials talk COVID-19 election concerns, mail-in ballot safety

Harrisburg, PA – During a Facebook Live Chat, Auditor General Eugene DePasquale hosted David Thornburgh, president and CEO of the non-partisan Committee of Seventy, to discuss how COVID-19 could impact the November general election.

They discussed the importance of ensuring there are enough poll workers stationed at polling places, Pennsylvania’s new law allowing no-excuse voting by mail, lessons learned in the delayed spring primary election, and the need for every eligible Pennsylvanian to vote.
