DUBOIS – A representative from the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry came to DuBois Thursday to speak to area businesses on the challenges and opportunities he sees for business owners.
Alex Halper, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, spoke on the chamber’s initiative to make Pennsylvania communities better by bringing businesses together.
He also told us that he sees tremendous opportunity in our area through our enthusiastic business community, and their willingness to work towards a better future.
“It’s always challenging to start a business, or run a business,” explained Halper. “We’re working to try to improve the business climate in Pennsylvania. We’re competing with other states all over the country in trying to attract businesses.“
In the end, Halper sees the future of state help focused on the economy, transportation, and energy.
