Over $21 million worth of illegal drugs recovered by State Police

HARRISBURG – More than $21 million worth of illegal drugs have been taken off the streets of Pennsylvania during the past three months.

State Police Troopers reportedly seized more than 320 pounds of cocaine and crack cocaine valued at over $7 million, more than 2,100 pounds of processed marijuana with an estimated value of more than $6.5 million; and 141 pounds of fentanyl worth in excess of $2.2 million.

Between July 1st and September 30th, Troopers also seized nearly 184 pounds of methamphetamines and 107 marijuana plants.

The statewide Prescription Drug Takeback Program during the third quarter of 2023 resulted in the collection of nearly 700 pounds of prescription medications at State Police stations.
