Osceola Mills man threatens woman with axe

Lawrence Township, PA – A Clearfield County man is accused of using an axe to threaten a woman in a business parking lot.

Lawrence Township Police say they were called by a woman who was in the Family Dollar parking lot near Clearfield on Monday when she said she had been approached by a man with an axe threatening her life.

The victim, a 51-year-old Clearfield woman, said that the suspect had been the driver of a vehicle in front of her and that he had exited his vehicle and began to approach hers on Chester Street alongside the Family Dollar.

The man was identified as Donald Pentlan from Osceola Mills.

He was later located at the Nichols Street Sheetz in Clearfield, where he was taken into custody.

Charges have been filed for terroristic threats and harassment.
