CLEARFIELD – Bail has been partially lowered for an Osceola Mills man accused of soliciting inappropriate photos from juvenile girls.
In Clearfield County Court this week, an attorney for 39-year-old Reed Meeker Jr asked that bail be dropped from $250,000 to $50,000.
The county’s Assistant District Attorney argued that Meeker is a danger to the public as a two-time offender, so his bail should not be reduced.
Judge Paul Cherry decided to reduce Meeker’s bail to $150,000.
Meeker is facing one felony count of criminal solicitation-child pornography for text conversations he had with members of a child predator exploitation group.
