CLEARFIELD – A 39-year-old Clearfield County man is facing criminal solicitation and child pornography charges following an investigation into several days of text messages.
State Police say Reed Meeker Jr. of Osceola Mills allegedly sought to receive sexual photographs from two people he thought were underage girls. What Meeker didn’t know is that he was communicating by text with members of a child predator exploitation organization.
Following his preliminary hearing Wednesday, Meeker was placed in the Clearfield County Jail with bail set at $250,000.
