Organizations in the Tri-County area to share portion of $48 million in statewide funding for housing and community development

HARRISBURG – Housing and community development initiatives in Clearfield, Jefferson and Elk counties will share a portion of more than $48 million in statewide funding made available through the Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement program.

This week, Governor Tom Wolfe named initiatives in each of the state’s 67 counties which will receive the money.

In Clearfield County, the Revitalizing Clearfield County and Village of Hope projects will receive funds.

Elk County’s Planning Department and Jefferson County’s Community Action were also announced as recipients of funding.
