Beaver Township, PA – An Ohio man was injured in Clarion County crash.
The driver, 43-year-old Christopher Newland from Leesburg, OH, had been driving his Freightliner tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 near mile marker 53 in Beaver Township on Sunday morning.
He tried to avoid another crash ahead on the wet, snow-covered roadway but lost control and jack-knifed.
The tractor-trailer slid off of the roadway and struck a ditch and an embankment.
Newland was taken to Clarion Hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
He had been wearing a seat belt.
