BROOKVILLE – An Ohio man is behind bars after allegedly travelling to Brookville to meet who he thought was a 15 year-old girl for sex.
According to Police, on June 3rd 37 year-old Michael Sardis was in contact with the group 814 Pred Hunters disguised as a 15 year-old girl.
Investigators say that Sardis allegedly made several romantic and sexual messages to the decoy and made plans to meet the minor in Brookville.
On July 3rd, Sardis allegedly went to a gas station on Allegheny Blvd to meet the teen and was met by police. He was then taken to the Jefferson County Jail where he faces felony sexual assault, indecent assault, and corruption of minors charges.
