SANDY TWP – There will be no tax, water, or sewage rate increases in Sandy Township for 2024.
The Sandy Township Manager and Supervisors shared that positive news at their Monday night meeting.
The complete and final budget for Sandy Township will be voted on at the next meeting.
Information was also shared that the City of DuBois has notified Sandy Township, that they will not “waste taxpayer dollars” to fight the township’s petition to stay or pause consolidation.
The next deadline that has to be met in the consolidation process comes in May 2025, when both municipalities will have to provide a full accounting of their assets and liabilities.
