No one injured in South Main Street house fire

Sandy Township, PA – Details are emerging about a fire in DuBois that destroyed a home on Wednesday morning.

A home caught fire around 3 a.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of South Main Street in Sandy Township, between San Spur Road and Wayne Road, close to the DuBois Christian Missionary Alliance Church.

Fire officials say no one was at home at the time and no one was injured in the fire.

The home was a complete loss.

One firefighter had to be taken to the hospital for a medical condition while he was at the scene, but no one was injured in the fire itself.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
