FERGUSON TWP. — No one was injured as a Tuesday morning electrical fire damaged the clubhouse at the Eagles Ridge Golf Course near Curwensville.
Firefighters from more than 10 volunteer departments responded to the Ferguson Township site, and gained control of the flames which were found in the building’s roof area in less than 10 minutes.
According to a social media post by Curwensville’s Rescue Hose Company, the roof did not collapse, but the damage caused by the fire will likely impact the clubhouse owner’s ability to operate the business for a significant amount of time.
According to the State Police Fire Marshal, the cause of the fire was determined to be electrical.
