CLEARFIELD — A pair of New York City men are behind bars in Clearfield. They are accused of stealing more than $16,000 from a PA Skills Machine at a Clearfield County gas station.

According to Clearfield Regional Police, 41-year-old Stalin Acosta-Paulin and 38-year-old Wander Hipolito Paulino-Pena have been charged with multiple felony counts of conspiracy and theft. Police say both men were seen on surveillance video breaking into a machine and stealing a large amount of money in June.

During the investigation, several law enforcement agencies across Pennsylvania confirmed that both Acosta-Paulin and Paulino-Pena were wanted on felony arrest warrants for similar theft incidents.

Following their arraignment on Wednesday, both men were lodged in the Clearfield County Jail with bail set at $25,000 each.
