New York Man Sentenced for Police Pursuit

DUBOIS – One Buffalo New York man will spend at least two years in State Prison after pleading guilty to fleeing from police and crashing in DuBois while in the possession of drugs.

We previously reported that on June 3rd 2025 police attempted to pull over a vehicle when it fled from police. A pursuit then led to the vehicle crashing into the Life Community Church.

Police then caught three individuals and discovered several bags of marijuana and methamphetamines inside the vehicle.

Now, one of the people involved, 23 year-old Jahaun Ware pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver, and resisting arrest. He was sentenced to spend between two and five years in State Prison.

Another person involved, 23 year-old Donte Jones was also sentenced to spend between two and five years in State Prison in late December after pleading guilty to the same charges.
