CLEARFIELD – There has been another guilty plea to attempted corruption of minors’ charges in Clearfield County Court by a suspect who was caught through the efforts of the 814 Pred Hunters child protection group.
On Tuesday, 34-year-old Shyam Gouli of Hicksville, New York was sentenced to a time-served jail sentence of four months.
Gouli was arrested in January after he took a train and bus from his home to Clearfield to meet who he was expecting to be a 15-year-old girl.
Court documents show that Gouli had been exchanging sexual messages with an 814 Pred Hunters group decoy for more than two months.
