CLEARFIELD — A New York man is the latest suspect to be jailed in Clearfield County following the efforts of the crime-fighting group 814 Pred Hunters.
Clearfield Police say 34-year-old Shyam Gouli traveled by train and bus from New York to Clearfield Wednesday with the intention of meeting a 15-year-old girl.
Gouli reportedly had been sending sexual messages to a member of 814 Pred Hunters the past two months, thinking he was communicating with a teenage girl.
Gouli is being held in the Clearfield County Jail with bail set at $250,000.
