PITTSBURGH — A new transportation service available to seniors age 60 or older will soon be opening in Clearfield County.
The Pittsburgh-based Little Red Riding Hood transportation service has a mission of providing low cost, reliable transportation for senior citizens.
Little Red Riding Hood founder Nicole Jones says she wants to launch the company’s services in Clearfield County no later than January, but hopes it could be up and running before Christmas.
Once the company opens, services can be scheduled using an app, the Little Red Riding Hood website, or by calling a dispatcher service.
The senior customer will have the option to keep drivers for up to one hour to help them with grocery shopping, light housework, light housecleaning, or yard work.
